The Ecumenical Jury in Locarno 2025 awarded its prize to ‘Solomamma’ by Janicke Askevold and gave a Commendation to ‘Le Lac’ by Fabrice Aragno. The Golden Leopard went to ‘Tabi to hibi’ (Two Seasons, Two Strangers) by Sho Miyake.

The Ecumenical Jury at Karlovy Vary 2025 awarded their Prize to "Rebuilding", directed by Max Walker-Silverman and a Commendation to "Cinema Jazireh", directed by Gözde Kuran. The the Crystal Globe went to the documentary "Better Go Mad in the Wild", directed by Miro Remo.

The Ecumenical Jury in Cluj-Napoca 2025 awarded its Prize to ‘Peacock’ by Bernhard Wenger and a Commendation to ‘Rains Over Babel’ by Gala del Sol. The Transilvania Trophy went to ‘To a Land Unknown’ by Mahdi Fleifel.

The Festival de Cannes opens at May 13 with "Partir un jour" by Amélie Bonnin. INTERFILM and SIGNIS appoint an Ecumenical Jury of six members for the 51st time. They award a prize for a film in the international competition.

The 71st Oberhausen International Short Film Festival will open on 29 April 2025 under new directors. Two ecumenical juries will award prizes in the International Competition and the Children's and Youth Film Competition.

The Ecumenical Jury in Fribourg 2025 awarded its Prize to the Chinese film "My Friend An Delie" by Dong Zijian. The festival's Grand Prix went to "Black Dog" by Guan Hu, also from China.

The Ecumenical Jury of the 75th Berlinale awarded its prizes to "The Blue Trail" by Gabriel Mascaro from Brazil (International Competition), "The Heart is a Muscle" by Imran Hamdulay from South Africa (Panorama) and "Holding Liat" by Brandon Kramer from the USA (Forum). The Golden Bear went to the Norwegian film "Dreams" by Dag Johan Haugerud.

The Ecumenical Jury in Saarbrücken 2025 awarded its € 2,500 prize to "Scham" by Lukas Röder. The Max Ophüls Prize for Best Feature Film went to "Ungeduld des Herzens" by Lauro Cress.

"Bound in Heaven" by Xin Huo from China received the €2,500 Prize of the Ecumenical Jury at the Filmfestival Mannheim-Heidelberg 2024. The festival's International Newcomer Award for Best Director went to "Manas" by Marianna Bernhard.

"When the Light Breaks" by Rúnar Rúnarsson from Iceland has won the INTERFILM Church Film Prize in Lübeck 2024. The festival's main prize, the NDR Film Prize, went to the Danish film "My Eternal Summer" by Sylvia le Fanu. Finnish actress Kati Outinen received the festival's prize of honour.

"L'oubli tue deux fois" (Twice into Oblivion) by Pierre Jean Michel won the prize of the Interreligious Jury in Leipzig 2024. The film also received the Silver Dove in the International Competition for Long Documentaries. The Golden Dove in the same competition went to "Le Cinquième plan de La Jetée" (La Jetée, the Fifth Shot, France 2024) by Dominique Cabrera.

"Bitter Gold" by Juan Francisco Olea from Chile won the Prize of the Ecumenical Jury in Warsaw 2024. The Grand Prix of the festival went to "Traffic" by Teodora Ana Mihai from Romania.

The Ecumenical Jury at SCHLiNGEL 2024 awarded its prize to "Hajjan", the second feature film by Egyptian director Abu Bakr Shawky, as well as a Special Mention to "La Petite et le Vieux" by Patrice Sauvé from Canada. The European Children's Film Jury Prize went to "Lampo, the Travelling Dog" by Magdalena Nie? from Poland.

The Norwegian film "Elskling" (Loveable) won the Prize of the Ecumenical Jury in Miskolc 2024. It was also awarded with the Emeric Pressburger Prize, the main award of the festival, and with the Prize of the International Confederation of Arthouse Cinemas.

The Ecumenical Jury at the Transilvania International Film Festival 2024 has awarded its Prize to "Zomervacht" by Joren Molter, which also won the Audience Award, and a Commendation to "Where Elephants Go" by C?t?lin Rotaru and Gabi Virginia ?arga. The main award of the festival, the Transilvania Trophy, went to "Girls Will Be Girls", directed by Shuchi Talati from India.

On 5 May 2024, the prizes of the 70th Oberhausen International Short Film Festival were awarded at the Festival Cinema Lichtburg. The Ecumenical Jury in the International Competition awarded its prize to the German-Chinese film "O ma" (Before Then) by Xie Mengzhu, while the Ecumenical Jury in the Children's and Youth Film Competition honoured the Japanese-American production "The Old Young Crow" by Liam LoPinto. The Grand Prize of the City of Oberhausen went to Chinese director Wang Zhiyi for his film "Ch?n Èr shí s?n".

The Iranian film "Keyke mahboobe man" (My Favourite Cake) by Maryam Moghaddam and Behtash Sanaeeha has won the Prize of the Ecumenical Jury for a film in the International Competition at the 74th Berlinale. The film was also awarded by the Jury of International Film Critics (Fipresci). The Golden Bear went to the documentary film "Dahomey" by French director Mati Diop.

At the 45th Film Festival Max Ophuels Prize in Saarbrücken, the Ecumenical Jury awarded its €2,500 prize to "Jenseits der blauen Grenze" (Beyond the Blue Border) by Sarah Neumann. The Max Ophuels Prize went to "Electric Fields" by Lisa Gertsch.
