Carla Moretti, brilliantly portrayed by Alba Rohrwacher, is consumed by her work at an insurance company and communicates with her son only through a mobile phone. The film holds up a mirror to the hypocrisy of a workplace culture that preaches inclusion, humanity and joy while rewarding competition, productivity and profit. With great intensity and stylistic coherence, it exposes the ethical contradictions of capitalism.
