‘Mikres Meres’ by Kostas Macheras won the INTERFILM Jury Prize, whilst ‘Eastern Elegy’ by Aleksandr Sokurov won the Grand Prize of the City of Oberhausen at the 42nd West German Short Film Festival in 1996.
