Born in 1964, Jakob Hoffmann has been active in church film work since the 1990s, notably as a member of the Jury of Protestant Film Work in Germany. He works full-time in youth outreach. Alongside this, he is an exhibition curator, director of the Yippie ! comic book festival, and publisher of a children’s comic magazine. He lives in Frankfurt am Main.
