After an apprenticeship as a typesetter, Christian Murer took his Matura at the Alpenquai Cantonal School in Lucerne. He studied theology in Chur and Munich and media education in Munich. He completed the teacher training seminar in Zurich and worked as a teacher at the Moosmatt school in Urdorf. Christian Murer is a film journalist at ZOOM-Filmberater and a photographer and journalist at CH Media. He has been a member of the Ecumenical Jury at the Oberhausen Short Film Festival several times.
