Bénédicte Cuny (born 1969 in Lyon), a graduate of the Institut d'Études Politiques in Lyon, has been an active member since 2014 and President since 2021 of Cinémages (Versailles), a discussion forum that offers a Christian and humanist interpretation of a wide variety of films. In addition to her passion for the seventh art, this commitment reflects her deep interest in debates and in addressing the human and social issues that cinema - in her opinion - conveys as a universal medium of reflection and dialogue. She also places particular emphasis on an intercultural perspective, which has been greatly enriched by five years spent in Asia. As a member of SIGNIS Cinema, she has been accredited to the Cannes Film Festival for three years.
