Ingrid Stapf is a philosopher focusing on human dignity and human rights in the media. Having worked in tel-evision, radio and filmmaking, she believes that movies can offer insights into new perspectives of what it means to be human. She learned about the transformative power of film when producing a documentary on clownophobia using film as a means of desensitization. Currently, she is a senior researcher at the Interna-tional Ethics Center of the University of Tübingen, an advisor for media ethics and media literacy to the Cath-olic Church (DBK) in Germany and an advisory board member and auditor in different institutions for the pro-tection and empowerment of children in media. She is also involved in the field of positive media. Interfaith juries at film festivals she served included Zlín, Chemnitz and Trento.

"Olmo" by Mexican writer and director Fernando Eimbcke wins the Youth Film Award of the Swedish Church and INTERFILM at the 43rd Children and Youth Film Festival in Malmö 2026.
