The Swedish Church is commited to cinema and film by its Officer for Culture, Charlotte Wells. It awards film prizes in Göteborg (Angelos Film Prize, including a prize money of 50.000 SEK) and Malmö (Church Prize for Youth Films). For pastors and theologians interested in film it offers a film blog on its official website.

The Reformierte Medien (Reformed Media) are the communication company of the Evangelical Reformed Churches in German speaking Switzerland. Some of its services are organised on an ecumenical basis, in cooperation with the Catholic partner organisation Katholischer Mediendienst (Catholic Media Service). Among them are the commendations for films which are published under the label "Medientipp".

The Office "Filme für eine Nachhaltige Welt" ("Films For a Sustainable World") is part of the foundation éducation21 and recommends, as well as distributes, films from and about Asia, Africa, and Latin America. In addition, it provides financial support for film productions from and about these regions, and offers aid for the preparation of film events.

From its very start in 1937 Het Filmgesprek has supported activities featuring meaningful conversations about cinema. The Dutch foundation challenges moviegoers to reflect on their perception and to engage in an in-depth conversation about cinema and the important life questions it provokes. Among it's activities is the organization of the World Cinema Exchange Award at the festival World Cinema Amsterdam.

Current issues
