Born in Madrid in 1982, Rubén de la Prida is the president of Signis Spain. He holds a PhD in Audiovisual Communication, Advertising, and Public Relations from the Complutense University of Madrid. He also holds a degree in Industrial Engineering from the Carlos III University of Madrid and is the author of several railway engineering patents. His teaching and research work focuses on the aesthetics and analysis of contemporary audiovisual media, with a special emphasis on the cinema of Spanish female filmmakers and postmodern American film directors.
