Petr Hasan (*1985) is a film archivist and historian at the Národní filmový archiv, Prague. He holds degrees in archival science, history, and film studies. His research focuses on cultural history, specifically the intersections of Christian spirituality and European culture from the early 18th century to the present. A prolific author of scholarly articles, he also wrote the book Ušlechtilý, dobrý, krásný (Noble, Good, Beautiful), which explores the relationship between the Catholic Church and cinema in the Czech lands during the first half of the 20th century. His interest in the aesthetics and thematic depth of children's cinema is further shaped by his personal experience as a father of two children.
