Michele Lipori (*1980) studied cultural anthropology with a specialization in Islamic studies and ethno-musicology. He is Chief Editor of Confronti, an Italian monthly magazine of religions, politics, and society (www.confronti.net), one of the first magazines to have dealt with interreligious issues in Italy. He has worked as a photo journalist and videomaker in different parts of the world, with special attention to the Middle East and the Balkans. He is one of the authors of "Protestantesimo", the television program edited by the Federation of Evangelical Churches in Italy broadcast on RAI, the national public broadcasting company of Italy. He was an INTERFILM jury member at 76th Venice International Film Festival and has been a member of the INTERFILM board since 2019.
