A media and communications professional, Julienne Munyaneza has worked in the field of international development, gender equality, children’s rights and poverty alleviation. She holds an MA in Communications/Media Policy from the City University, London, and studied Social Communications and Development at the Daystar University College, Nairobi, Kenya. For over 15 years, she was regional coordinator for Africa and the Middle East, and programme manager for HIV/AIDS, poverty and ecumenism at WACC. She has also held the position of Communications Director for the Protestant Churches of Rwanda, working with the Rwandan government and various NGOs.
