Joel Ruml (*1953) is pastor of the Evangelical Church of Czech Brethren, the largest Protestant Reformed Church in the Czech Republic. He studied theology at the Charles University in Prague (1972-1977) and was a pastor in various congregations (1980-2003). From 2003-2015 he was Synodal Senior (church president) of his church.

Faith in Film Award in Tromsø 2026
"Little Trouble Girls" by Urška Djukić won the 10th Faith in Film Award at the Tromsø International Film Festival 2026. An Honourable Mention was awarded to "The Little Sister" by Hafsia Herzi.

"Defiant" by director Visa Koiso-Kanttila wins the Prize of the Church Media Foundation in Finland at the International Chidren's and Youth Festival in Oulu 2025.
