Pastor Christian Engels is head of EZEF, the Protestant Centre for Development-Related Film Activities, which makes films from the Global South available for educational work, as well as official in charge of filmcultural activities at the Gemeinschaftswerk der Evangelischen Publizistik (GEP) and thus responsible for the Protestant FILM OF THE MONTH Jury.
He is also a commissioner for SAT.1 and ProSieben.
Christian Engels worked for a film production company and was a parish priest for the Protestant Church in Hesse and Nassau.
