Anikó Mária Nagy was born in 1973 in Csíkszereda (Romania). She graduated from the University of Theatre and Film Arts in Budapest in 2004. After working for Duna Television for 18 years in various cultural programs she has been freelance since 2014. Her short film Small Things won an award for best director and best screenplay at the 40th Hungarian Film Week and was also screened at the CineFest.
