Agnieszka Godfrejów-Tarnogórska (*1973) is a Polish theologian and educator. She studied theology and genealogy in Warsaw and worked as a catechist and diaconal worker in Kra-ków, as well as an assistant in the Polish Diakonia Office in Warsaw. Since 2015, she has served as the spokesperson for her church. She is president of the European Christian In-ternet Conference (ECIC) and vice-president of WACC Europe. She is involved in organizing of the Belief on Screen Festival. Agnieszka collaborates with Polish television, contributing to productions such as the docudrama Tę rodzinę trzeba wytepić (2019) and documentaries Według Wandy and Pseudonim Rachela (2024). As a Godly Play storyteller she engages in work with children in one of the suburban parishes.

 

Current issues

Following the promising nominations, the Oscar ceremony felt like a disappointment. For the first time, the Academy had nominated international films such as “Sentimental Value” from Norway and “Secret Agent” from Brazil in the Best Picture category. Yet in the end, it was American productions that walked away with all the awards.
"Olmo" by Mexican writer and director Fernando Eimbcke wins the Youth Film Award of the Swedish Church and INTERFILM at the 43rd Children and Youth Film Festival in Malmö 2026.
