"Leva lite" (Live a Little), a Swedish-Norwegian-Danish co-production directed by Fanny Ovesen, has won the Church of Sweden Film Award "Angelos" 2025. The prize was awarded during the 48th International Film Festival Göteborg (January 24-February 2, 2025). The film is the first feature film by the director.

The jury for the award consisted of Neta Norrmo, filmmaker, producer of TV documentaries and cultural journalist, Bengt Toll, consultant and former chairman of the Göteborg Film Festival, and Mikael Ringlander, photographer and dean of the Swedish Church.

In their motivation of the awrd the jury says: "Leva lite is a cinematic trip through Europe about a young woman's journey towards her own self. The outer journey leads to an inner one; love and friendship, betrayal and loyalty, abuse, adaptation and self-awareness."

"Fanny Ovesen has made an impressive feature film debut, both in terms of content and dramaturgy. She dares to portray a difficult and important subject, where the tension is maintained throughout the film. I hope that many people will go and see it," said Mikael Ringlander, chairman of the jury.

The prize is worth SEK 50,000 and includes a statuette by icon painter Erland Forsberg. At the award ceremony Fanny Ovesen said: "I was so happy and surprised! The jury's motivation really got to the heart of the film. It has been a dream all the way to meet young people with the film and take part in the conversations that it hopefully raises. The Church of Sweden Film Prize can really create the conditions for that. Many thanks to the jury!"
