György Kányádi (*1996) is a freelance director-choreographer and performing artist. He is also a staff member of the Bonus Pastor Foundation (RO). He graduated in Choreography (BA) and Directing (MA) from the University of Arts in Târgu-Mureș. He began his career with the András Lóránt Company and made his directorial debut with “Csongor and Tünde” at the Tompa Miklós Company - National Theatre of Târgu-Mureș in 2020. He danced with the Oradea Dance Ensemble, taught at Navarra Dance (Târgu-Mureș), and has been a regular educator at Contemporary Artistic Movement Platform (RO) since then. Films inspire his creative work too, while his theater background helps him appreciate both film and stage values. He has experience with cross-adaptations between film and dance-theater.
