Colette Kalt was trained as an actress in Bern. She then worked as an assistant director at various theaters and studied visual communication at the DERCAV department of the University of Censier in Paris. After returning to Switzerland, she continued her journalism studies at the Swiss School of Journalism and finally obtained a master's degree in cultural media studies at the Zurich University of the Arts. Colette Kalt worked as a television journalist and producer at SRF Télévision Suisse Alémanique, developed various TV formats and concepts, made documentaries, directed and managed commissioned film projects. Journalist for various media and editor-in-chief of magazines, she is now responsible for communications and campaigns for the Catholic aid organization Action de Carême.
