A father, a peddler, forces his restless son to spend a whole day inside his dad's cart as a punishment. Ironically this gives the boy the chance to witness the real world, as tough as it is, through a small hole in the cart. Thus his day brings new understanding and a new relationship between the father and son.
In a very special and very human way, the film deals with the subject of guilt and forgiveness. His impressive minimalistic style provides him with universality and timelessness.
