Philippe Cabrol was a teacher of social sciences and a moderator of film talks at his school. Now he is retired. He is vice-president of the association Chrétiens et Cultures and organises a Christian film festival every year at the end of January in Montpellier and Béziers, France. He has been a member of SIGNIS juries in San Sebastian and Toulouse (Festival Cinélatino) and writes about the Festival de Cannes for the website of the Jury œcuménique.

Current issues

Church Media Foundation Award 2024
Film directors Satu Majava and Joel Tainio have won the Church Media Foundation Award with their film «Do No Harm». The documentary was awarded in the domestic competition of the Tampere Film Festival 2024.
Seeing, Not Seeing, Recognising
