She graduated in theological education, writes as a film critic, is an expert in virtue education through film and vice-president of SIGNIS Spain. She is author of several books and articles on education and film.

Church Media Foundation Award 2024
Film directors Satu Majava and Joel Tainio have won the Church Media Foundation Award with their film «Do No Harm». The documentary was awarded in the domestic competition of the Tampere Film Festival 2024.
