Kinga Szűcs (*1975) is an assistant professor at the Department of Religious and Social Sciences of the Lutheran Theological University. Kinga obtained her first Master’s degree at the Hungarian-German Department of Eötvös Lóránd University (ELTE), where she also had the opportunity to delve into film and theatre studies through her personal interest. She earned her next Master’s degree from the Central European University (CEU) in history, and then pursued her studies at the Lutheran Theological University, where she graduated with a master’s degree in theology in 2014, majoring in social ethics. She received her doctorate in 2021, is a member of the Ararat Creation Care Working Group and is responsible for communications at the European Christian Environmental Network (ECEN).

Following the promising nominations, the Oscar ceremony felt like a disappointment.
