Iva Folajtárová, (*1982) graduated with a degree in Religious Studies and Hussite Theology from Charles University. She also holds a master's degree in pedagogy of religion, philosophy, and ethics. Currently, she serves as a project coordinator at the Salvation Army. In addition to her professional role, she dedicates time to her own artistic pursuits, including painting, songwriting, fashion design, and writing books. An avid film enthusiast, she enjoys attending festivals and participating in spiritual exercises involving film. During her tenure at a psychiatric hospital, she utilized film as a therapeutic tool.

Current issues

‘Northern Outskirts' (Nordrand) by Barbara Albert was the winner of the 4th European John Templeton Film Award for the year 2000. The film tells the story of two young women in Vienna who lost touch after leaving school and meet again at an abortion clinic.
INTERFILM member Hans-Martin Gutmann traces a narrative arc from his departure for the KVIFF 2026, through his work on the festival’s Ecumenical Jury and its decision on the winner, right up to his return.
