Françoise Lods studied German at the Sorbonne and then taught German at school. She is a board member of Pro-Fil, the Protestant film organization of France, and regularly organizes film discussions and seminars. She also takes part in a monthly radio broadcast on current cinema films.

At the 57th film festival Visions du Réel in Nyon the Interreligious Jury has awarded its Prize to the documentary "Dentro" by Elsa Amiel.
22nd Film Festival achtung berlin
Jacqueline Jansen’s ‘Sechswochenamt’ won the Prize of the Ecumenical Jury at the achtung berlin 2026 film festival. The jury awarded a Special Mention to Katrin Sikora’s documentary ‘Schwarze Häuser’.
