Bertrand Ouellet

Bertrand Ouellet (*1953) was was General Secretary of the Quebec Assembly of Catholic Bishops 2008-2018. From 1998-2008 he was Managing Director of Communications et Société, the organization established by the Canadian Catholic Conference of Bishops (CCCB) as the "Office for Social Communication". He was also the coordinator of the Ecumenical Jury at the Montreal World Film Festival. He is a graduate of the École Polytechnique (electrical engineering) and the Theological Faculty of the Université de Montréal (B.A. in Theology and M.A. in Biblical Studies), where he lectured from 1990 to 1992. From 1990 to 2002 he was a member of the Parable editorial team.
