Born in 1963, Adrian Baccaro is a social communicator, teacher and audiovisual producer. He is a researcher and publisher specialising in media education, audiovisual media for children and children’s rights, cinema and education, the animation industry and cultural industries (audiovisual sector). President of SIGNIS Argentina until 2025 and currently its executive secretary, he has served as a jury member at numerous festivals (Venice, Havana, San Sebastian, etc.) and is the author of several books on cinema and communication.

At the 57th film festival Visions du Réel in Nyon the Interreligious Jury has awarded its Prize to the documentary "Dentro" by Elsa Amiel.
Jacqueline Jansen’s ‘Sechswochenamt’ won the Prize of the Ecumenical Jury at the achtung berlin 2026 film festival. The jury awarded a Special Mention to Katrin Sikora’s documentary ‘Schwarze Häuser’.
