Rinke Dellebeke-van-Hell studied at Tilburg University for a M.A. in Culture & Arts (1995-2000) and finished her PhD in Practical Theology in 2016 at VU Amsterdam & ETF Leuven (Joint Degree, on a dissertation relating film viewing & religious identity). She started her career as a film programmer and publicity worker for several movie theatres until 2014. She also worked as a freelance film critic for several Christian publications and as a teacher & researcher for several Dutch Universities of Applied Sciences and the Belgian university ETF Leuven. She currently holds a position as Programme Manager for a Primary School Teacher's Training Programme (B.A.) at HZ University of Applied Sciences in Vlissingen, The Netherlands. She is a member of INTERFILM.
