Set in a working-class neighborhood by the Los Angeles River, the film is composed of four short stories examining the everyday lives of a Mexican graffiti muralist, an Armenian camera repairman, an African-American Blues guitarist and an English pensioner. Each story is peripherally tied to the Los Angeles River, examining the delicate ties between strangers that rarely communicate yet share brief moments of connection. (Festival information)
