“Kiki & Tiger” is the story of a friendship that was unusual in Europe in the 1990s. Kiki, an Albanian, has been living in Germany illegally ever since he was driven out of his homeland, Kosovo, by the Serbs. He is hiding out with his best friend, Tiger, a Serb who grew up in Germany and who, like Kiki, can’t stand the nationalist behavior of his compatriots. Kiki and Tiger defy all external pressure, and it seems as though nothing could destroy their friendship.
