Sabine is 16 years old, self-assured and quick-witted. She has recently moved in with her father in a dreary tower block estate near Berlin. One day there, she witnesses 18-year-old petty criminal Micha running away in a panic with a bloodstained knife – a few metres further on, she finds a dead body. Fearing that Sabine might rat him up to the police, Micha sets his mate Eddi on her. It isn’t long before a tender romance develops between Eddi and Sabine.
