A young, successful computer games inventor returns to Berlin from the USA following his father’s death. As he reconnects with old friends and revisits childhood memories, repressed fears resurface. A superbly acted exploration of self-discovery, set against the backdrop of a ‘classic’ father-son conflict and the playful engagement with modern (media) reality, which also impresses with its sensitive incorporation of ‘virtual’ narrative layers.
