MALAMBO portrays an endearing community of ‘cloud pushers’ and ‘castle-in-the-air builders’ who dream of a different life: Chris, who wants to follow in the footsteps of the escape artist Harry Houdini; the swaggering Mischa, whose charm Chris simply cannot resist; and Nada, who is determined to break away but ultimately remains true to herself and her friends.
