Ramona, in her early thirties, works in a cosmetics factory. She lives a reclusive life in a housing estate behind the buildings at Berlin’s Ostkreuz tram station (...). Her practical sister calls Ramona ‘Engelchen’. Having never been kissed in her life, she happens to bump into Andrzej, a Polish cigarette dealer, who uses the embrace to escape a police raid.
