Engelchen

Ramona, in her early thirties, works in a cosmetics factory. She lives a reclusive life in a housing estate behind the buildings at Berlin’s Ostkreuz tram station (...). Her practical sister calls Ramona ‘Engelchen’. Having never been kissed in her life, she happens to bump into Andrzej, a Polish cigarette dealer, who uses the embrace to escape a police raid. A love story gently unfolds; Ramona becomes pregnant, but her happiness is short-lived: the child is not viable (...). (Jury der Evangelischen Filmarbeit)
