A glimpse into the working lives of experienced shunters at Dresden-Friedrichstadt freight yard. Come rain or shine, day and night, they couple and uncouple the wagons. The air is filled with sounds: hammering, the creaking of footsteps on the gravel, whistles and the sounds of shunting. (Filmfest Hamburg, 2004)
