Children with intellectual disabilities are being trained for their performance at an official ceremony. Despite the strict discipline, the children reveal a need for personal fulfilment. The camera exposes the discrepancy between the ideal of peace and happiness for people with disabilities and everyday life in the care home. Alongside the hopelessness of individual fates, there are signs of a new way of living together in society between those who are vulnerable and those who are strong.
