This movie shows us how western societies are now at a cross road, threatened by extreme and radical thoughts and violence. In this context, neutrality would mean accepting the current situation and is not a solution. Our protagonist gives us the example of how to act, be engaged, stand for the human rights and dignity, and to defend democratic values and institutions. The director, Faraz Shariat, uses a cinematographic language that embodies the urgency and the gravity of today's stakes using thriller, western and crime codes, delivering an intense and impressive movie.
