Commendation of the Interreligious Jury, Leipzig 2026

For its sensitive long-term portrait of a celebrated artist, that reveals the vulnerability and shows the resilience behind the public rockstar persona. With great respect, Helena Třeštíková follows Bára through personal crises and illness. The film transforms private suffering into a universal reflection on love, dignity, joy, and the enduring power of artistic expression.
