A very creative, impressionistic work which shows elements of life in a Hungarian Jewish neighbourhood. On the walls murals by Chagall are suggestively copied; all life is played out; a Jewish marriage is celebrated in the courtyard, children are handing out apples to strangers; there is an older lady surrounded by the pictures of her family; an older man roams through the streets playing the flute.
