Lilies of the Field (Ralph Nelson)

Five German nuns on a lonely farm in the American Southwest get a travelling black Baptist to build them a chapel free of charge. A light-hearted comedy that only touches the surface of its religious theme but, thanks to the good leading actor (Sidney Poitier), shows tolerance and an open-mindedness for human problems.
