After the sudden death of her beloved grandmother a nine year old girl with a mentally ill mother searches for security in her family. Told from the perspective of children the entertaining and unconventional film succeeds in raising attention for existential problems in post-modern societies. Relying on a self-confident and strong girl as central character the film sets prejudices overcome, responsibility accepted, dialogue between the generations and even death met witout taboo against growing isolation and shows an optimistic model of new family relations.
